Chatfield Hollow State Park — Establishment and park at 381 Connecticut 80, Killingworth, Connecticut.

An expansive park with many interesting features! I’m still working on walking every bit of trail in this park, so I’m sure there’s still much to explore, but highlights include the Indian Caves, the Chimney, and the waterfront, as well as miles and miles of views! There are multiple pavilions and charcoal grills throughout the park which make Chatfield Hollow ideal for picnics, parties, and outings. Do know this is a paid park during the summer, but there are swim spots, so very well worth it on a hot day. Trail maps are sometimes available at the park, but you’d be better off printing one off the State Park website beforehand or snapping a picture of a map board on your phone.

Beautiful park! So much to see, areas to hike, and swim in the summer. Beautiful picnic areas.
